Both Matthew and Sofia are at school for the very first time.  Matthew started Kindergarten, Sofia started at Early Childhood, where Matt went the past two years.  We walked Matt into his class, and it was a bit of a zoo.  It’s going to take some adjusting for him to get used to.  I’m sure he’ll do great.  He got a bit scared when Mom and Dad started to leave, but his teacher, Ms Salgado came over to give him a hug and show him all the fun things they were going to do.  At that point, Mom and Dad made their escape.

Sofia was the total opposite.  She had the advantage of watching Matt go to school for the past two years, and she knows all the teachers already.  She was ready to go.  We dropped her off at carpool and she never looked back.  From the look of things, she’ll be running the place within the week.

It’s pretty quiet around here right now …
