I’ve been following Formula 1 Racing for a number of years now. When they announced they were building a track in Austin, I couldn’t have been more excited.  I arranged to go in on some space in an RV with some friends as a money saving plan.  We got to see cars running all day Friday, Saturday, and the races on Sunday.  Through some insanity, we were able to stake out a spot down in front of the starting line. Really couldn’t have asked for better.  The only downside for the weekend is that my camera froze up Friday, so I was stuck using my pocket camera. My friend did let me use his camera with my lens and storage cards, so I was able to still get some fun shots.

All in all, a great time was had. Certainly something to remember.
